The delegation, led by Mr. Wang Guiqing of the China Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility Overseas, was received at Entebbe International Airport by Uganda’s Head of Mission in Beijing, Ambassador Oliver Wonekha.

The 12-day visit, running from 12th to 23rd April 2026, is being conducted under the theme “A Trade, Investment & Market Immersion Mission.”

The programme focuses on key sectors including agro-industrialisation, tourism, mineral-based industrial development, and science, technology and innovation (ATMS). It is aimed at deepening trade ties and exploring investment opportunities in Uganda.

Officials say the visit is part of ongoing efforts to position Uganda as a competitive destination for trade, investment, and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
