URA FC welcomes back Kabon Living after Kitara Success

URA FC has officially confirmed the return of talented winger Kabon Living, marking their first signing of the 2025 transfer window. The skillful left-footer rejoins the Nakawa-based “Tax Collectors” on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Kitara FC, where he enjoyed two highly productive seasons.

Homecoming with Purpose

For Kabon, this move is more than just a transfer—it’s a return to familiar ground with unfinished business. He previously played for URA FC from 2021 to 2023, before making the switch to Kitara. Now, with silverware and experience under his belt, he’s back with renewed ambition.

“I want to thank URA FC for bringing me back home,” Kabon said in an emotional statement. “This is where I feel I belong. I’ve gained invaluable experience during my two years away, and I’m ready to score goals, win titles, and give everything for the badge.”

The club welcomed his return on social media, calling him “a proven talent with unfinished work in yellow and blue.”

Success at Kitara FC

Kabon’s time at Kitara FC was nothing short of impactful. He was instrumental in helping the Hoima-based side clinch the 2024 Stanbic Uganda Cup, marking a major milestone in their club history. His contribution included:

  • 13 league goals across two seasons

  • A series of key assists during the 2024 Cup run

  • Leadership and consistency that lifted Kitara into the national spotlight

His attacking prowess, pace, and eye for goal made him one of the standout wide players in the Uganda Premier League during his stint away from URA.

Signing for URA

URA FC’s technical team sees Kabon as a crucial piece in their rebuilding efforts, especially as they look to challenge for silverware in the 2025/26 campaign. His return strengthens their frontline and adds much-needed creativity and experience to the squad.

Head coach Sam Timbe is reportedly keen on building a dynamic attack, and Kabon’s versatility on the wing is expected to be central to that vision.

With the transfer window just heating up, Kabon Living’s return sets a bold tone for URA FC’s ambitions—and for fans, it’s a homecoming story worth celebrating.
