Vipers SC has lined up three high-profile international friendlies as part of their preseason preparations ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and their upcoming CAF Champions League campaign. The club confirmed the fixtures on Wednesday, August 8, 2025, via their official website.

“As the 2025/26 football season approaches, Vipers SC are ramping up their preparations with a series of high-profile preseason friendlies designed to test the squad’s readiness,” read part of the statement.

The Venoms will first take on Rwanda’s Gorilla FC in a double-header at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on Tuesday, August 19, and Thursday, August 21. Following these clashes, Vipers SC will face Tanzanian giants Azam FC on Friday, August 29, at the Kigali Pele Stadium in Rwanda.

These matches will serve as a crucial buildup before Vipers shift focus to the CECAFA Kagame Cup, scheduled to run from September 2 to 15, 2025. The friendlies will provide valuable opportunities for the team to fine-tune their tactics and build momentum ahead of the new season.
