Vipers SC secure Liberian striker Mark Yallah on three-year deal

Mark Yallah unveiled by Vipers SC
Ugandan Premier League champions Vipers SC have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season with the signing of Liberian international forward Mark Yallah on a three-year contract.
The move comes as they gear up for a return to the CAF Champions League and seek to defend domestic league and cup double.
Images of Yallah surfaced showing him at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, dressed in full Vipers SC kit and signing documents alongside his wife a clear indication that the deal had been sealed.
The visual confirmation left no doubt that the Liberian forward had become the newest addition to the Venoms’ camp.

Vipers are actively strengthening their squad with dual objectives: making a significant impact in Africa’s elite club competition and successfully defending their domestic league and cup double secured last season.
One of the key areas identified for improvement is the centre-forward position, which lacked consistency during last season’s campaign.
Despite their domestic double triumph in the 2024/25 season, the club struggled to find a reliable presence up front.
Strikers Kenneth Kimera and Isaac Ogwang were inconsistent in both form and goal return, often leaving the attack blunt in crucial moments. The arrival of Yallah, therefore, signals intent; Vipers are targeting a proven goal-scorer capable of leading the line with authority.
The Liberian striker brings experience and a fresh spark that the club hopes will translate into goals and improved attacking fluidity. His signing has already stirred excitement among fans, many of whom are eagerly anticipating his official unveiling.
Yallah expressed his honour in joining a club of Vipers SC’s stature, stating that he is determined to give his best, score goals, and help the team make a strong impact on the continent.
He described the move as a new chapter in his career and hopes to leave a lasting mark in the club’s history by contributing to its pursuit of trophies and pride for the fans.
With the new season fast approaching, and the CAF Champions League campaign on the horizon, Vipers are leaving little to chance. The addition of Mark Yallah could be just what they need to power their ambitions forward.
