Ugandan clubs learn their fates in CAF interclub competitions

The draw for the CAF interclub competitions took place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, revealing the opponents for Uganda’s representatives, Vipers SC and NEC FC.
CAF champions league:
Vipers SC, the reigning Ugandan league and cup champions, will face African Stars FC from Namibia in the preliminary round. The winner of this tie will advance to the first round, where they’ll meet the winner of the match between Power Dynamos of Zambia and ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast.
CAF confederation cup:
NEC FC, making their continental debut, will take on Nairobi United from Kenya, who are also new to CAF competitions. If NEC FC progresses, they’ll face the winner of the tie between Al Ahli Madani of Sudan and ES Sportive de Tunis of Tunisia.
Match schedule:
The preliminary round first legs are scheduled for September 19-21, with the second legs taking place on September 26-28.
