Is Yasin Nasser on track to win the ARC title?

Yasin Nasser is in a strong position to extend his lead or consolidate his championship bid in the African Rally Championship (ARC), especially with Karan Patel’s withdrawal from the Burundi Rally.
Nasser currently leads the championship with 86 points, 9 points ahead of Nikhil Sachania and 15 points ahead of Samman Vohra.
With Patel out, Nasser can focus on managing risks while pushing for a podium. Even a conservative points finish would maintain his lead, while a win would almost seal the title early. Nasser’s experience in East African rallies could give him an edge over non-East African competitors.
However, Nasser must avoid complacency. Vohra and Sachania are still within striking distance, and a win for Vohra in Burundi could significantly close the gap. Mechanical issues or reliability problems could also derail Nasser’s title hopes.
Current ARC Standings:
1. Yasin Nasser (Uganda) – 86 pts

4. Carl Tundo (Kenya) – 50 pts
5. McRae Kimathi (Wahome) (Kenya) – 42 pts
